Use this handy checklist as a reminder of how to maintain your pool:

Every Day:
Test for pH balance. Adjust, if necessary, to 7.2 to 7.6.
Test for free available chlorine. It should be between 1.0 and 1.5 ppm.

Every Week:
Brush the sides and bottom of the pool. Vacuum if necessary. Clean skimmer and backwash filter if needed.

Every Two Weeks:
Superchlorinate with HTH Dry Chlorine. After very hot weather, rain storms or heavy pool use, do this every week or ten days.

After a Wind and Rain Storm:
Remove leaves and debris with a leaf skimmer, check pH and chlorine and adjust if necessary.

After Fresh Water Is Added:
Check pH and chlorine and adjust.

Twice Each Season:
If you are using a chlorine stabilizer, check and adjust the level of the stabilizer to 25 - 50 ppm.

Now that you have done all that, there is only one thing left... Enjoy yourself!
